A new challenge blog started up this week, called Fluffy Flatbottom’s Twisted Tuesday and the first challenge was to make a postcard sized piece of art on the theme of Fish out of Water.
In the second half of the eighteenth century the hair of the fashionable world in England soared to new heights and some truly preposterous hair-do’s were seen out and about. This is my tongue-in-cheek version of an aquarian-themed hairdo.
The "Magic Garden" and "Places of the Heart" are Wild Garden, WEB 2.0 projects that have been designed to show educators and their students how good curriculum can be delivered and the outcomes published, using new technology such as blogs, writeboard, photo board and many other exciting applications.
When she is not working at Soul Food, trekking Lemuria or Wild Gardening, Heather Blakey builds virtual communities. She is currently working with the Victorian Education Channel, building a virtual community for teachers using state-of-the-art, internet based publishing tools.
