Here are my cards for the Magic Garden swap. I printed rose pictures and a small rose border onto blue and beige card stock. Then I used watercolor to paint over the pictures, to highlight and accent. I mailed them on Sept. 26th so they are on their way to Australia!

The "Magic Garden" and "Places of the Heart" are Wild Garden, WEB 2.0 projects that have been designed to show educators and their students how good curriculum can be delivered and the outcomes published, using new technology such as blogs, writeboard, photo board and many other exciting applications.
When she is not working at Soul Food, trekking Lemuria or Wild Gardening, Heather Blakey builds virtual communities. She is currently working with the Victorian Education Channel, building a virtual community for teachers using state-of-the-art, internet based publishing tools.
It is so exciting for these cards to be coming via Australia and then on to many other places. You have made me think of Amelie and I am thinking of sending someone a soft toy that stays for awhile and then goes on to do a Soul Food Tour. Oooh! I think an idea has just been born.
